Experience the Folklore Atmosphere from the Heart of Egypt
At the end of the summer season, “Doroob” Gallery will host a group art exhibition entitled “Egyptian Folklore” with the participation of 21 male and female artists who will display about 45 paintings that reflect the Egyptian environment and are full of popular spirit.
“The exhibition aims to preserve Egyptian folklore and the pure Egyptian atmosphere, and to raise the youth to love Egypt and appreciate its global position,” according to Sossan Salem, the gallery manager, in the media statement issued about the art event.

The participating paintings come in different styles, techniques and materials, including: oil, acrylic, inks, pastels, watercolors, meadow thread (cloth), iron, and three-dimensional dolls made of cloth, and they represent all governorates of Egypt. Despite this difference, the paintings converge in that they express the authentic Egyptian identity.
The displayed paintings embody Egyptian scenes from the heart of the homeland, such as “Girls My country, the alleys, streets, narrow lanes, traditional clothes in villages and oases, and more, in addition to portraits of Egyptian characters, characterized by simplicity, kindness and contentment from Cairo to Aswan.
.The exhibition continues until October 3, 2024, at the headquarters of the “Doroob” Gallery, Latin America Street, Isis Building, Garden City, Cairo.
